Triumph Stag 1974

An extensively rebuilt original Stag that was imported from the UK in 1975.
Manual with overdrive.

Runs like an absolute dream and sounds amazing. Flys through WOF without any issues.

The previous owner meticulously restored this car over the period 2005-2010 with the aim of keeping it original. Have receipts for over $13k spent, including a re-paint, clutch and brake system and a full engine rebuild only 13,500 km ago.

The Stag is mechanically sound and could be used as a daily vehicle as it is. There is scope for further improvement with mainly cosmetic restoration required if desired.

The soft top needs repairing (stitching undone, photos 13,14) or most likely replacing. Hard top was not repainted and needs restoring. The front and rear bumbers are not perfect and would need re-chroming or replacing (photo 15). The only rust that is evident is a small almost un-noticeable bubble on the passengers door (photo 16).

Please note, It is almost 40 yrs old and is not in showroom condition.

Ideally I would keep my Stag and enjoy restoring her over the next few years.
Realistically I do not have the time and the money could be spent elsewhere.
