1 Morning Pages
2 All In An Afternoon
3 Hitchcock [Single 1]
4 The Posh Tiger
5 Through The Woods
6 Cars Of Eden
7 Damn The River [Single 2]
8 Sea World
9 Slightest Shift In The Weather
10 Nest Egg
11 Twilight
Whats so impressive about the album is that the band have managed to combine such a range of styles - from the zombie rock of Hitchcock to the country stylings of Nest Egg; from the slightly indulgent 7-minute centrepiece Cars Of Eden to 2-minute pop tribute Damn The River - yet it maintains an entirely cohesive flow throughout. Perhaps best of all, though, is that not once does it sound anything less than natural; it just sounds like The Phoenix Foundation.
Damn The River follows the release of first single Hitchcock which has been nominated for 'Best Unreleased Song' at the 2005 b.net awards.
The Phoenix Foundation's excellent, NZ Music Award nominated, album Pegasus has achieved Gold status sales in New Zealand. This equates to 7500 retail sales in Aotearoa.
After being released in the same month as albums from fellow-Wellingtonians Fat Freddy's Drop and Shihad, The Phoenix Foundation's second long player, Pegasus, has more than held its own.
Like Fat Freddy's Drop and Shihad's long-players, Pegasus made an immediate impression, debuting at No 10 on the charts.
