This is a very worthwhile disc and is more TV type music in its presentation rather that BIG screen Holywood in your face music.A powerfull and dramatic opening piece The world at War is far from the best piece on this varied extracts which clearly show Mr Davis ability to write nice tunes..You will find it hard not to remember The Ann Frank piece and also The French Lieutendants Woman...altogether a pleasant and rewarding disc .at Bargain price it should be just purchased and enjoyed....hope they do more like this
