In October 2010 Julian Temple Band internationally released their third, full-length studio album, Balance Escapes on California-based independent label Oscillosonic Records.
The album was recorded in South Dunedin at drummer PMK's Sub Urb Studios during the bitter, cold winter of 2009, only a month before the release of the band's last album Quiet Earth. However, post-production at Tom Bell's Tin Shack Studios did not take place until mid-2010, in order for JTB to tour Quiet Earth extensively through New Zealand.
Temple says, "It was good to come back off tour with a new project ready and waiting."...
