The multi-Platinum selling Patea Maori Club first burst into our living rooms with the smash hit "Poi E" in 1983. In the following years Patea Maori continued to successfully release 7" singles and 12" EPs, both in NZ and internationally -- none of these singles or EPs have ever been available on CD until now!

This special 25th Anniversary Edition comprises two discs … the original 'Poi E' CD plus an 11-track bonus CD that features several previously unreleased songs, re-mixes and live material. All tracks have been re-mastered from the original quarter-inch master tapes by sound wizard Paddi Addison.

It was on the strength of this music that Patea Maori Club performed at The London Palladium, the Edinburgh Festival and a Royal Command Performance. In 2009 the song "Poi E" returned to the NZ singles charts, reaching #45 -- 25 years after its original release!!!
