New Zealand harper Asni's album “Travels in Middle-earth” is a virtual trip through Middle-earth.

Traditional, classical and original music for harp, including several adaptations from Howard Shore's soundtrack for the "Lord of the Rings" movies, combine with the magical sounds of taongo puoro performed by Alistair Fraser.

Nature sounds recorded at some of the “Lord of the Rings” filming locations across New Zealand complete the picture - a carpet of sound of fragile and shimmering beauty, woven into a harmonious whole that transcends the sum of its parts.
