As-new "Vintage" brand (high quality Korean) factory made 6 string solid top spruce, mahogany back/sides/neck acoustic-electric (active) with sturdy factory case. This brand of an early Selmer design was mainly sold in the UK with similar ones sold in NZ for over $1400, but those were without electrics.

The bridge piezo is very sneakily fitted to allow for vertical adjustment of the saddle so you can setup the action to suit your playing style and string gauge. Excellent sound both electrically and acoustically, an 'electric gat' feel to the neck (truss rod type) and an exterior-of-the-body accessible battery. Suitable for finger style, blues, jazz-style playing (chord and lead) etc with the top nut being a bit wider than the normal skinny industry standard.

Model: VMEC 800-N. One would presume the V=vintage and that N=natural (finish). The label states: A John Hornby-Skewes product. Their site has an 800N but it's now a dreadnought! Same specs though re the spruce top & mahogany back & sides.

Only selling because I have replaced it with a one-off Peter Madill version made in 1986.
