I'm selling my Gretsch G5210 Electromatic Hollowbody.
If you're in the market for a secondhand one of these, this is a very nice example. I've owned mine for a bit under a year and it's been looked after very well and as such, is in very nice condition.
In terms of technical jargon, 22 frets, body is laminated maple, fingerboard is rosewood, and the neck is also maple. Body depth of about 69.85mm (or so the Gretsch website tells me).
Has a Bigsby trem, an "adjustomatic" bridge, and two Gretsch humbuckers.
So what can I tell you about this guitar from my personal experience? Well it's a very nice guitar to play. Very nice clean guitar, also handles a bit of gain. Not something you'd go crackers with in terms of heavy distortion unless you're good at controlling feedback.
Holds it's tune very well including heavy Bigsby use (if anyone's gonna put a guitar out of tune it's me...)
Comes with a hard case as well so no worries about having to round one of those up.
I'm selling it to pay for a new guitar I've just bought. Having said that, I have a job and the new guitar won't take long to pay off. With that in mind, there will be a limited amount of times I'll be listing this.
It's a nice guitar so if I don't get what I want for it before my new guitar is paid off, I'll happily keep it.
Since my motivation for selling is to pay off my new guitar, I'm not particularly interested in swaps.
As for shipping, it's a big item once it's packed up so if you're keen, make an inquiry and I'll see what I can find out what the shipping to your neck of the woods might be. Or if you're within driving distance, you're welcome to come by and pick it up, discuss gear, etc.
Cheers!
