The strat style version of the original variax. If you're not familiar with these things have a wee google and be amazed. This guitar models a bunch of vintage guitars as well as acoustics, banjos etc and can change tunings to any custom tuning at the flick of a switch!

It's not midi - all realtime processing of the full range signal from the piezo pickup. Imagine the musical possibilities of flicking from standard to Drop C then an acoustic open G all in one song; it's madness!

I play in my church band and it has been incredibly fun to have all of the different options to me. Being able to flick from a lush 12 string to a classic thinline tele or a 59 strat is amazing. The only reason I'm selling is to top up the wedding fund .. the fiance said it's either this or I'm out working the street :)

This guitar also plays really nicely - the reason I originally bought it was because it was such a nice feeling guitar.

It was in perfect nick until it took a knock off it's stand a few weeks ago - you can see the scar in the pix :( I've never had any problems with this guitar.

Comes with:
pedal (switch between jack and xlr outputs),
power supply for pedal,
trs cable (powers the guitar when plugged into the pedal, can be powered via battery pack in the back if you resolder a wire)
Cat5e (ethernet) cable for direct powering and playing by the Pod range (XT, X3, HD500 etc)
