The scaled down body size makes this instrument much more player friendly without losing the qualities of the ES model or the scorching growl of the Les Paul solid bodies. The value in comparison is not a reflection of inferiority, in fact, put alongside the traditional Les Pauls and ES models the attributes are all there.

Gibson has merged historic design with modern styling and come up with the ultimate HYBRID Gibson, a new breed of electric guitar that offers ultimate "Tonestry." A great word for the sound this beast emulates. It is powerful in its ability to punch out its awesome tonal voice ......wow!!! In keeping with the ES335 tradition it would spank the power of its heritage, semi hollow, fellow models.

This new Gibson recipe creates a whole new level of sonic versatility, resulting in an instrument that's perfect for a wide range of musical genres. Built with solid-wood construction rather than a laminated top and back. It has twin ‘57 Classic humbuckers, top-notch hardware, and the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece is just an awesome component.
