Jackson Professional - One Of A Kind

This is an awesome instrument with a two octave neck (24 frets).

The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan "Zebra 59er" which is their version of a 1959 Gibson Les Paul pickup. A great clear pickup which lets you still hear the tone of the wood through overdrive or distortion pedals. The all-round tone is great. Produces great harmonic "pings" from varying the angle of your pick strikes and has a wonderful tone when picking the strings from above where the neck bolts on to the body.

It has a 5 way pickup selector and the configuration is:
1) Bridge humbucker
2) The 2 inner coils from both humbuckers
3) Both humbuckers together
4) The outer coil only from the neck p/up
5) The neck humbucker
This gives you some very useable Strat-like tones as well as your normal humbucker sounds.

The colour is what makes it one of a kind, it has to be seen "in the flesh" to be believed. It has been professionally painted with a PPG red candy then sprayed with PPG Prismatique (which is tiny flakes of coloured mica) followed by 2 pack clear coat and then baked hard in a car oven. Hard to show in photos from my crappy little digital camera but on stage, the lights hit it as you play / move around and it just sparkles.

The bridge is a locking Floyd-Rose style making it a very versatile workhorse of a guitar. I have used it extensively on stage (It has been my number 1 axe for quite a few years) and I have used it in the studio a bit also.

Reluctantly selling, I do have a few electric guitars including another Jackson Professional because I feel you can never have too many (sadly not a view shared by the entire household).

Will ship at buyer's cost.
