Don't fooled by it's size, This amp got serious TONE! not like alot of Marshall amp from that era uses 5881 power tubes, this JCM 900 MkIII 2501 features two EL-34 power tubes, Full sized Drake power transformer, original Made in England Celestion G12T-75 speaker,produces authentic classic Marshall Tone!

it delivers incredible low-end that's tight and focused.not like much bigger amp become boomy and bassy sounding when pushed on full volume, this amp produce very organic tone that CUT THRU THE MIX!

This amp is the most suitable choice for NZ gig venues. this amp loud enough to wipe out an army of midgets!at normal gig volume, this amp is optimized for its full potential. you don't have to shake off the roof to get power amp distortion.


The MkIII models are single channel amps. The two volume controls allow you to have totally independent volume levels for rhythm and lead playing, which is footswitchable.no channel switching means simple electric circuits, pure tone with no tone sucking component in the circuits. you can use your vlolume knob on the guitar to control the clean/dirtiness of the sound. roll down the volume on guitar you got hendrix type clean sound, turn to full you got all the marshall crunch to high gain shred!!

This amp take pedal very well.. any OD/DS pedal sounds good on this amp.
