I have a limited supply of these well seasoned 1 piece alder body blanks, suitable for opaque colours, measuring approx 485mm long x 325mm wide x 45mm thick.

Due to the knotty nature of Alder 1 piece blanks are very rare to come across. Some of these blanks may need a little filler but most if not all should come out when you rout the cavities if you place your template in the right spot.

These blanks have been thickness sanded ready for you to create your master piece.

Alder has been used for solid body electric guitars since the 50's. It is found in some of the most prized early fenders and is an important part of the percussive, twangy sound they are known for.
