Built in 1901 this Erard grand has been carefully renovated to preserve as much of the original as possible. New bass strings, treble string wire, and hammers were ordered to original specs for this model and imported from the manufacturers in France. New damper felts,action springs,frame felts, key rail felts all new. Any loose centre pins replaced. Case work French Polish improved without damaging historical patina. Regulated correctly and tuned at standard pitch the piano has medium touch.
Presents a resounding bass of depth and colour and an overall delightful European tone. These lovely old pianos have become rare and are instruments worth preserving. Please see my other Erard Grand for sale.
