I have been given a collection of violins to sell for a retired friend. She told me they belonged to her late father who enjoyed these violins. There are quite a number to list when time permits.

This is a Germany Strad copy, I estimate made about 1920. He came from England about 1930. Should be an easy set up, although the varnish has clearly had better days. A truly dedicated person would probably revarnish it.

She assures me this was a sweet sounding violin, a favourite - although clearly it is currently unplayable.

No cracks & no bora, so except for the varnish nothing major for a repair person. Needs a set up, strings etc.
