“Cubism In Concert” was filmed in High Definition on November 14th 2006 in Mexico City at the Auditorio Nacionale. It was directed by David Barnard whose previous credits include the live concert films of Björk and Gorillaz. The sound for the film has now been mixed by long-standing Pet Shop Boys engineer Bob Kraushaar in both stereo and 5:1 surround sound. Pet Shop Boys formed in London in August 1981 and are the most successful duo in UK pop history with 36 top 20 hits and 10 top-ten albums. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide. The release of their ninth studio album last summer, “Fundamental” (EMI), has already produced another two Top 20 singles in the UK and the US.
