Sets of 100 high quality needles to play old 78 RPM records. Not cheap Asian ones, that usually sound yuk. These are English. Been making them for over 30 years, so know what they are doing. Manufactured to very high standards. People often remark on the great sound quality, because they have previously only used poor quality needles which appear to be coming from the East. Apart from bad sound, abnormal record wear and damage is risked by using poor needles.

GRAMOPHONE NEEDLES SHOULD BE CHANGED AFTER PLAYING EACH SIDE OF A RECORD; Always been advised by needle and record manufacturers, for more than 100 years, to prevent irrecoverable Record damage. But this is not very practicable. I usually change mine after playing two sides, or one side with special records, but still use quite a few needles. To keep the price down I buy a larger quantity of Needles than I need, hence I have spares. However, my cost has just gone up 50% due to exchange rate and manufacturer increased costs.

However, I have had information the elderly gentleman who manufactured them for years, in fact decades, may be giving up. So I have bought a very large quantity, which should last for some time, but once they're gone, that's possibly it!
