Description
Korg has released an updated range of its 3 nano USB MIDI controllers, this one being the pad version in white colour.
The NanoPAD is basically a device with which you can send MIDI messages to your computer based music software, either for triggering drum hits, or musical notes. Other uses are for triggering loops, muting tracks, and as 16 step inputs.
The biggest change from the previous version is now having 16 pads, which makes it able to be used for 16 step "909 style" drum programming, but additionally now you can use it to program a gate arpeggiator, choose key and octave range, choose root key and enter tap tempo value.
It still features the ever useful X-Y "Kaoss" pad for assigning double parameters for one finger mutation.
Connection to your computer is by one USB cable which is supplied with the item, and is competely USB powered.
It comes with a license for Korgs M1Le softsynth, Toontrack EZ Drummer lite and a discount coupon to purchase Ableton Live (any version) with a US $50 (EU$30) discount - bonus!
12 months warranty provided on all new purchases.
