Introduction to the Triton sound section: With total sales of more than 300,000 units for the series, KORG's TRITON music workstation is legendary. The 512 program sounds built into the TRITON are included, specially tuned for the taktile (*1). You can register 16 of your favorite sounds for immediate recall at the touch of a switch. The sounds range from standards such as electric piano and organ to synth leads for soloing and elegant pads, making this a treasury of sounds that will stimulate your inspiration as a player. You can also control the TRITON taktile from your computer via USB MIDI as an external sound module to enhance your existing music production setup.

A few things of note:

1/ This is a preset sound module with adjusted sounds based on the TRITON's PCM waveforms, and only some parameters can be edited. 2/ The unit requires power from the USB input, so this needs to be connected to a computer/iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch or a dedicated USB power supply. 3/ The audio output is 3.5mm jack only. 4/ This comes with the Korg software bundle, which includes the classic Korg M1Le, and now even a lite version of Reason. 5/ New OS version 2.0 provides a low power mode so can now be used directly with iOS devices.
