Mountaineater is the new band featuring Tristan Dingemans of Flying Nun's High Depepndency Unit (HDU) fame, along with Anaru Ngata and Chris Livingston.
This 7" 33rpm pressed black vinyl record is their first recorded output, and was recorded in Dunedin by Dale Cotton, longtime HDU collaborator. It comes with a free download of both tracks.
For fans of heavy, sonic rock, Mountaineater are contempories of sonic explorers such as Kerretta, Operation Rolling Thunder, Shellac and Jakob, and labels such as Midium & the Kingsland Vinyl Appreciation Society.
This is the second release on Monkey Killer Records, MKR002.
