The Bark Terminator 3 is controlled by a microprocessor which distinguishes your dog's bark from other environmental noises and automatically delivers sound and shock stimuli after each bark. The output level of sound and shock will increase gradually as barking persists.

This helps to give your much loved pet plenty of warning before it becomes painful. The Bark Terminator's unique pattern of increasing sound and shock quickly teaches your pet that it is its own bark that is causing the discomfort. This is the humane approach to bark control.

The Automatic Bark Control Collar has a progressive stimulation and warning tone level setting. It will detect the vibration of the dog's bark. At the first bark, the unit applies a short warning tone. If a second bark occurs within 30 seconds, a more intense tone is sounded. If your dog barks a third time, it will emit the stimulation on the mildest level together with the intense warning tone. The stimulation levels increase every time your dog barks until he stops barking. After your dog has stopped barking for a 5 minute period, the microprocessor will automatically remember the correct level which stops your dog's barking and will start from the exact level when he barks again. At each step, your dog gets to choose whether it is worth the increasing pain to bark again. We have found this technique of progressively increasing warning tone and shock is not only more humane, but also more effective in breaking the barking habit than conventional shocking anti bark collars.
