Each cage has two doors, one along the longer side of the cage and one on the top of the cage.

NOTE: Some people prefer having the bottom tray in the cage to provide a smoother flat surface for the dog to lay on. This can be done by opening one of the sides out, it is quite a fiddly procedure, but once you get it open, the tray will fit in. Also note, if this is done, the cage will not be able to fold entirely.
