HUGE !! SEGUSO - FLAVIO POLI CENTREPIECE

A fabulous piece of Genuine Vintage Murano Glass. Designed by Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d' Arte. This is one amazing piece of art glass and a example of the sommerso technique. The base with its strong swirls of lime/grass green reflecting up and out to the extremes and the rim of deep ruby red make for a outstanding combination. Pieces like this are now few and far between given it still has most of the original label attatched. This piece reacts nicely when exposed to the UV light.

Condition : Apart from couple of very minor surface marks and a small portion of 3 sharp edges of the pontil swirls being polished which could well have been done at the time of making given the way this has been executed and the fact that there is no other marks on the polished pontil, this piece is " MINT". This in no way affects the display qualities of this impressive piece.
