...Wow!!....this is simply a gorgeous highly sophisticated Murano form graced with a finish and polish a cut above the rest and infused with with stunning detailing in the form of hundreds of "Bullicante" bubbles and enriched with lashings of 24 carat gold leaf.....Wow!

...these pieces come up very rarely for sale and showcase all that is the flamboyant richness that is Italian Murano!! - I just adore and cherish pieces like this, that have stunning richness of detail but also a measured balance - just superb! ;-)

...for sale an exquisite Murano bowl circa 1950 that in it's detail is obviously by a very skillful hand indeed with it's quality of detail and gold inclusions, could possibly be an old "Barovier and Toso" creation - a maker which is as sought after as any other Murano stable.

spanning nearly 16cm' at it's widest point and very thick-set, a crystal-clear outer shell has been wrapped another of fresh lilac-purple - which is about as "Chic" as you will come across....

...i just can't do the colouring justice in the photos but it is so unique....so refined.......and with the gold - Wow!

...this hue is a perfect complementary canvas for the dazzling rather ordered display of "Bullicante" that have been injected between the casings which have then then been coated with a liberal dusting of gorgeous 24 carat gold inclusions!!

....the bubbles enliven the piece scattering light and warping bubbles through the magnifying qualities of the dense glass walls - but the gold heightens this even further giving the piece a sublime richness and shimmering quality....

...needless to say, the form exemplifies "Chic Sophistication" in every way.....

...a rare rich Murano form that is a X-factor piece in more ways than one - just beautiful.....in lovely condition with only age-related scratches
