I've collected glass for over 20 years and have been fortunate enough to amass a considerable and varied collection, many of which were acquired in Europe where I lived including Venice for the odd Murano piece or two.

..... 100% Murano and clear to see with it's incredible freshness and quality of detailing - this beautiful exquisite fantastical orb of crystal showcasing a wondrous surreal flora-like form is superb!

....what a cool "fantastical" piece of Murano whimsy!........pieces such as this, rich in detailed embellishments and superior design are delightful inspirations for ones fertile imagination.....

...when I look through this piece I see a rich exotic jungle clad cliff or hilltop with 3 hot-air balloons clinging to it's flanks.....or bubbles bursting up from hidden air-pockets trapped within a tropical coral face - the analogy's go on.... ;-))

....spanning nearly 8cm's and heavy, within a orb of clear sprouts a fantastic orchid.......a painterly explosion of colours run through zillions of tiny bubbles of various densities to form a solid silloette...

...3 perfect large stretched mercury bubbles (with tiny basket bubbles?) hover alongside each flank and have great gravitas against the kaleidoscope of textured landscape...

...simply put, it's like a airy fantastic dream trapped within a crystal ball with an incredible freshness of colour and crispness of detail - a rarely seen Murano form in excellent condition with some circular impressions on the outer shell where it was held during otherwise extremely clean .....displays beautifully!
