A great merchant advertising collectable for the towns of Taneatua and Waimana in the Bay of Plenty
A pin dish from Theobald & Co, Butcher
These would have been given to loyal customers of Theobald’s Butchers back in the 1950's (my guess for the date) The lettering say, 'With The Compliments Of A. C. Theobald & Co. Ltd. Family Butchers. Taneatua & Waimana'
The wording and gold highlighting is just starting to fade a bit in parts but is still very readable. The dish is not chipped at all
On the bottom it has, Alfred Meakin England, and a crown
