This delightful jardinere is genuinely "rare" Made by Fielder - Crown Devon brand - about 1910 it is signed by the artist G Cox who specialised in painting Highland Cattle. George James Cox was British born/trained but soon after creating this stunning design he was lured to the USA - Columbia University - becoming the Chairman of Arts for UNCLA This stunning jardinere is in mint condition despite being about 107 years of age - no chips or cracks or stains and the colours as good as the day they were fired.
