This is my last Flora and Fauna piece. They were made by Crown Lynn in the late 60's early 70's and depict detailed Maori designs with flora and fauna showing kiwi, kowhai and pohutukawa. The larger ones were presented at the official openingof Ceramic House and was used as the Trade Promotion Council's export award in March 1969. They were made in brown, brown and gold, pale apricot and pale green according to Valerie Monks Crown Lynn book. However this one is dark green. Never seen another in my travels. Last chance to get a rare piece of Crown Lynn.
