Description

On offer a beautiful English made 1930s milk jug - quite large and fat - appealing shape. It is backstamped but I can't read it as it is so faded - it is very reminiscent of Royal Doulton and other Staffordshire potteries.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks, just general age crazing which add to the allure of the patina.

Beautiful depiction in autumn tones of leaves and trees and flowers over a rooftop village and fireplace smoke rising.

Earthenware so solid and heavy.

Capacity is 1.5 litres

Dimensions : 13cm tall, 20cm from spout to handle, 12cm diameter of rim, 13cm diameter at widest point of jug.

Pickups welcome at Waikanae Beach. Please ask for a date and time that is suitable.

Combined postage welcome - please ask how many items and what items you can post for $17 one charge.
