When I came across this lovely pig years ago I bought it for its cuteness. Then it occurred to me that it looked very much like Wemyss Pottery. I've been googling to try and find an identical one. The Wemyss ones I've found look VERY similar, in particular the eyes, the shape and the design. I"m afraid I cannot be sure though as, if there was a maker's mark, it is no longer there. There is, however, what looks to be a handpainted (black) T and an unidentifiable squiggle.

If you are reading this you probably know more about Wemyss than I do and may be able to tell straight away (I'd really appreciate more info if you have it).

If this is real Wemyss it is worth hundreds, possibly thousands of dollars.

It's approximately 19cm long and 12.5cm tall. It's has a coin slot in the top and a hole at the bottom. It's in fantastic condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. It does have light, clean crazing all over, however, which, in my opinion adds to its beauty
