Shane Wagstaff worked with Barry Brickell and Roger King, and in 1983 established his own house and pottery. He describes his process: "I use a fine white New Zealand clay fired in a natural-draught gas kiln. Most of my work has been glaze-fired to the stoneware temperature of 1280 degrees C."
