Vintage Hull Pottery (USA ) Corky Pig Piggy Bank - Mold 196 - Mirror Brown Glaze with Turquoise & Vanilla Accents -
EXCELLENT Condition , no damage or major chips
cork precent but has been pushed inside piggy
The bank is approximately 16 cm tall, 16 cm wide
. It is made of glazed pottery. It is incised on the base with the copyright symbol Hull U.S.A. 196.
The glaze is spectacular – deep and reflective at the same time (aptly called “mirror brown”). Each of these Corky Banks is unique. The amount and where the highlights were added greatly affects the look of the bank. This bank is very balanced.
nb Thought this might be a Crown lynn piggy bank but after researching the net found it to be from Hull Pottery USA CIRCA 1950'S
