This morning I have for auction a very tidy Royal Albert trio called 'Orient'.
Around 1910 Royal Albert established its first overseas agency in New Zealand.
Ever since Royal Albert has been a firm favourite with New Zealanders.
Orient was produced between 1927 and 1935 and has the dark brown backstamp from that period.
There is a blue,green,yellow and red border pattern on a white ground.
Nice strong gold trim which is in good condition.
The plate is square in shape and is 15.5 cms in diameter. The saucer is 14 cms in diameter and the cup stands 7cms high and is 7.5 cms in diameter at the rim.
The shape is Countess.
All three pieces are in very good condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs or crazing.
