Description
This is our last week of listings. Cleaning out the antique bins in the garage! We will fit as many items into a $7.50 courier box as we can, then have to start a new box for you. Australians can bid on this as we have access to an Australian account and the shipping shouldn't be too dear.
Royal Doulton's "Egyptian A" pattern was produced between 1911 and 1929. After Carter discovered Tutankhamen's Tomb in 1922, the pattern was modified in 1923 to include the lettering "Tutankhamen's Treasures, Luxor Egypt". The border is trimmed in bright green and features stylised papyrus reeds. The patterns on the plate are hand painted and feature scenes 1, 2, and 3, of 16 available montages. In superb unused condition with no restorations, repairs, cracks, chips, utensil marks, or even crazing (a couple wee lines of crazing in the center of the plate). The pattern is even and strong, apologies for any white marks or non uniform colour caused by camera flash. 24.5 cms diameter. Fully marked Royal Doulton and impressed with a bunch of numbers and letters.
