Another lovely piece from Spode’s Blue Room Menagerie collection. This time the Rhinoceros House. This particular pattern was first introduced in 1837 (the year Victoria became Queen). The copper plates used for printing the design were introduced by Robinson, Wood and Brownfield. When they closed in 1900 Spode took over the plates.. Intiricate designs and incredible detailing make the Blue Room Collection very special. Brand new mint and still in the original factory box.
