My 16 yr old daughter had her "final" lesson with Tony this afternoon. After 10 lessons in the simulator we all are confident that she is ready for the road. She started at the end of the January school holidays almost reluctantly, but after the first lesson was enthusiastic about the whole driving "thing". Sessions with Tony have boosted her confidence (in areas other than driving), and a few weeks ago he told her that she was ready for the road so she had better get on and get her Learners
My 16 yr old son has just successfully passed his restricted driving test after finishing the SSDT course with Tony and putting into practice what he had learnt on the simulator without any formal driving lessons.
As a mother it was great to receive info about the lesson content. Tony explained what he was teaching and why, so everything made good logical sense.
Thanks Tony for your positive input and encouragement. I would have no hesitation in recommending the SSDT to anyone!!
After having my learners for over 5 years and giving up learning to drive, I gave this a go and I am SO glad I did!Great way to learn all the essential skills in a safe environment, no risk to yourself or others and you can go over anything you haven't done correctly. After a few lessons I was back on the road and feeling much more confident. Got my restricted licence first go, and haven't looked back! Thank you so much Tony!!
I took my son along for his first lesson recently, and I was very impressed. What I really liked was the fact that the simulator can expose learners to all types of situations they couldn't safely encounter in a live driving session on the road. A few sessions on the simulator should be mandatory for all learner drivers in my opinion.
I highly recommend this to ALL new learner drivers no matter what your age!In fact,my personal opinion is it should be a compulsary part of the Learners Licence.My daughter has just completed this programme & I cannot believe the skills & confidence she has gained,in a safe & surprisingly very short time,she cant believe it either.Tony is an AMAZING teacher,Hannah had NO confidence & was full of fear,due to Tony's calm,easy-going nature & exceptional teaching skills she is ready for the road :D

I got my learners at 19yo and did a few lessons from friends & they were great. However in the SSDT it was so much better. I took in lot more. It was relaxing, not stressful, easier to understand situations. The tutor is calm whilst instructing and explains things very well. I am now 37 and if this was around when i first got my licence it would have saved a lot of arguements with friends. Thanks you Tony & Wendy for letting this opportunty happen. Advice to others - JUST DO IT!
