I have been driving for over 40 years. I have driven extensively in the UK and Europe including France and Spain (25 years), USA (5 years), and of course, now in New Zealand (15 years).
During my time in the UK, I completed the Advanced Drivers Course, taught by officers of the Greater London Metropolitan Police.
I am NZTA Qualified, and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Driver Educators (NZIDE).
My vehicle is a Mazda Demio with automatic transmission. It has been fitted with dual controls, so I can control the vehicle in an emergency to prevent a potentially dangerous situation.
I conduct:
• Driver Assessments
• Learner Licence Courses – Theory
• Restricted Licence Courses – Mainly practical
• Full Licence Courses – Theory and Practical
• Refresher Courses for Adults and Senior drivers
Each Lesson is 1 Hour
My rates are:
Pay as You Go - Single Driving Lesson - $60/hour
Prepay Packages - 5 Lesson Package - $55/hour
10 Lesson Package - $50/hour
Theory Classes - Hourly lessons - $60/hour
Vehicle Loan for Practical Driving Test - $120.00 (includes pre-test lesson)
High Speed (Motorway) Driving Course - $60/hour
Night Driving Course - $60/hour

Both me and my older brother had lessons with Larry in quick succession and we both passed on the first try as a result. He is a very knowledgeable, patient and calm instructor who points out all aspects of driving that need to be performed correctly to ensure a pass and safe driving. His experience combined with his charisma made driving an ease for both myself and my brother. Would definitely recommend Larry's tuition to anyone.
Larry is a great instructor. He is very knowledable, not intimidating for new drivers. He teaches you to be safe on the road not just how to drive. Thank you Larry.

WOW, I would definitely recommend Larry. Considering that the rules have become a lot harder and they aren’t just giving out driving permits. I must say Larry was a brilliant instructor, he really boosted my daughter’s confidence and helped her without making her nervous, she is a first time passer….. thanks to Larry. If you are looking for someone to teach you or your child I would definitely recommend him. BRILLIANT.

If I drive like a pro today its all because of Larry, who taught me to drive when two other instructors gave me up AS A GONE CASE. Extremely patient, calm and professional along with his sense of humour when required, Larry taught me the ropes in 2 months' time. His brilliant approach, calm disposition, along with his extensive knowledge of driving made the unthinkable happen. Without a doubt, I will recommend him to any age group. Larry was MY SAVIOUR, he will be yours too! Call him today.
I failed my 1st driving test after taking about 10 classes with another instructor, I had lost all confidence and didn't think I'd drive again. On meeting Larry, his calm and patient manner, clear instruction and encouragement made me take to the wheel confidently and I passed with flying colours. My world opened up and I can't thank him enough. So all you first timers/migrants that struggle with the road code and driving speeds, ring Larry now - he's the man!
Larry is a highly professional driving instructor with amazing teaching skills. Helpful, prompt, patient, polite and funny. I would highly recommend to everyone looking at getting their license at any stage, couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Made me feel at ease and boosted my confidence. Taught techniques and gave tips which made a positive seachange to my driving abilities. Wouldn't have passed my driver's license test so quickly without you! Thank you very much Larry.
