We have been reconditioning hybrid batteries and working with hybrid vehicles for the last 6 years.

We invented the Power Jockey, and as a result the Prius Generation 1 hybrids now 15 years old are still running on the original battery with the Power Jockey installed.

The Prius hybrid is mechanically very reliable as the electric motor will last "forever" and the engine can easily clock up 600,000 Kms without any deterioration in performance.

Get your hybrid vehicle diagnosed by an expert. If the Hybrid battery or the 12 volt battery is faulty, fault codes thrown up by the scan tool is meaningless and you will be given completely wrong information, which can lead to you "fixing" items that are not broken !!

Standard Service ($175 plus GST )
A hybrid vehicle service will require additional checks from a standard vehicle.

Engine Service
1) Clean Mass Air Flow meter, throttle body
2) Check spark plugs, plug in coils and air filter
3) Change engine oil and oil filter.

Hybrid Service
4) Check 12 volt battery, main hybrid battery cell modules and state of charge.
5) Reset and realign vehicle computer, and regenerative braking.

Vehicle Service
6) Check tyre pressure, exhaust system, steering rack and CV boot, radiator fluid, power steering fluid, windscreen washer fluid and cooling system hoses.
