This tent has a geodesic frame structure which provides more stability, and an outer fly that is 2000mm waterproof which will keep you dry in the wettest weather. The inner mesh windows are fully insect proof - as long as you keep them zipped up!

UV resistant fabric for the ultimate protection from the harshest southern hemisphere sun. This Beyond Tent Fly is super coated to minimize the effect of UV rays minimizing deterioration and fading from the sun.

Water rating

All Beyond tents have a waterproof rating of at least 1500mm and over head ratings of up to 5000mm. This means that a column of water 5 metres high could be placed on the fabric and it would not leak through. 1500mm is sufficient to keep out the rain and anything over 5000mm is excessive.
