This Kona classic downhill bike is an awesome toy for downhill race and free rides. The bike is the second flagship downhill race model in 2005 after Stinky Primo. This 26inch downhill bike is still very solid bike for take hits and jumps. It is still in reasonable condition with quite few scratches and scrapes all over the bike as it has been regularly used for years, but there is nothing which affects its function. Both tyres will probably need to be replaced soon.

Front inner tube has just been replaced with new one before this auction. There are some modifications from original parts – grips, handle bar, saddle, front break set, front crank set and derailleur set. The front crank set has been modified to single-ring set - allows you to eliminate the front derailleur and all the associated hardware saving 450g of weight, in addition of that more clearance round BB area, less maintenance as you have one less cable to look after and it declutters the handlebar. Now the price of the single ring crank set becomes affordable, however it was expensive in the past!

The bid starts from $850 or near offer (please leave your comment below) although retail price was US$3200 in 2005. Selling this as I will move out to the North Island near future and trying to reduce what I’m not using now.

If you live in Central Otago or somewhere along SH6 between Queenstown and Christchurch (up to Springfield or Rangiora, delivery date dependent), I can deliver with petrol cost (maximum $150). Or it can be shipped with the Main Freight. More than welcome to pick it up in Queenstown, too.
