Proper race bike this one!
26 inch wheels, race weight spec, classic Cannondale geometry: all combined to make one snappy bike that loves climbing and the tight stuff!
Cannondale System Integration means the frame was designed with the Lefty fork in mind. Stiff, oversized headtube up front and super skinny, vibration dampening (arse-saving) stays at the rear designed for a fast ride with less jarring than other brands.
Bikeradar said of the no-holds-barred spec stablemate of my bike: "Astronomic price aside, this is the best riding carbon fibre hardtail you can buy – bar none." Enough said.
If you ride xc and haven't ridden a Lefty then you don't know what you're missing. Steering-wise: tracks miles better than 9mm axle xc forks, similar to latest 15mm axle stiffness-wise in my experience. Very sensitive and responsive over small bumps, more than any other xc fork.
Bought second-hand by me in November of 2011 for 2,400 with average spec, significantly upgraded.
