This is the worlds most aero road bike, used on the world pro tour by the Garmin Barracuda team.
The BB 30 bottom bracket and associated frame work in conjunction with the rear chain stays have made the delivery of power from the rotor cranks to the rear wheel outstanding.
I have only had this bike for a short while but have achieved some excellent results in the Dunedin Masters games with gold, silver and bronze medals and a 4th place in the road race. I also had a 4th place in the Laskey bush ride.
Unfortunately I brought the wrong size bike. I normally ride a size 52 and was only able to get a 54 at the time I brought this bike. I put the 80mm stem on to try and correct the oversize problem. I continually get a sore back and have limited myself to shorter rides and hoped that I would become accustomed to it.
It hasn’t worked. My loss your gain. This bike has a recommended retail of $18,000.
