Description
What was the motive of the night prowler in attempting to destroy the Black, one of the world's most famous horses? He left behind him a gold medallion on which was embossed with the figure of a large white bird, its wings outstretched in flight. Was it the Phoenix, the fabulous bird of mythology. If so, what did it signify? This the story of a boy's great love for his horse. A love that led him half-way around the world, across the vast white sands of Rub' al Khali in Arabia to the kingdom of Shiek Abu Ja Kub ben Ishak and the black stallion.
This is from 1953, so 64 years old. For its age is in very good condition. The dust jacket has a couple marks on the spine and corners.Has a slight musty smell. Been in storage as I was overseas. This is the last book from the 12 of the same vintage that I sold. .
