The GT Monster is the traditional cupped-face popper with the weight in the tail. It is designed to be worked slowly, using the rod to create the ÔpoppingO action that attracts the predators. The 200mm suits big kingfish and tropical species such as giant trevally. It is fully wired and uses strong VMC trebles. The smaller 150mm is perfect for our inner gulf areas and can be cast around marker buoys and reef structure to entice hungry kingfish from the depths.
