These rods have a 10-17lb line rating and recommended 1/4 - 3/4 oz casting weight. They are an absolute pleasure to use and have incredible power. I have used this rod for only 1 season and it is in excellent condition. It has never been used in the salt and any new owner will not be disappointed.
