Last season Dawson fished the South Westland area and the Waikato River with great success. His intent was to get enough footage to complete a move on Whitebaiting in New Zealand. What transpired was that the adventures he had on the Waikato River were enough to produce a movie that is out now and titled ' Whitebaiters on the Mighty Waikato '

On this trip the offer is a cost of $250 a day which includes all food, (With Dawson you will experience camp tucker better than most eat in restaurants) accommodation and transport once you get to Haast or the Waikato River. All fishing gear and a small boat is supplied and you get to keep one third of the catch.


Trips are also available on the Waikato River the largest Whitebait fishery in New Zealand. Last season we caught 20 kilos in one lift. The first photo shows our team on the Waikato with 100 kilos caught in one day. If the catch is as good as it should be you wil get to star in the next movie out from the team to be titled ' The Whitebaiters of South Westland '
