This reel has a level wind to make sure the line doesn’t get tangled, and conventional gearing. It is tough and built with materials that resist corrosion and years of action. It delivers many of the advantages of Qualia’s offshore reels, but without the heft.
Carbon-fibre mainframe with graphite sideplates keep the weight down. Oversized machine-cut stainless gears drive the transmission. Machined gold-anodized aluminium spool with stainless steel mainshaft. Stainless/carbon/Teflon drag. Oversized grip. Finger-friendly drag star.
Every screw, spring, lever, bolt and part in these reels is either heavy-duty stainless steel, aluminium or graphite for the best possible combination of strength and salt water resistance.
