Gurnard and Snapper beware! Our Tuff flounder looks good enough to eat. Available in 2 colours and 2 sizes for varying conditions and environments of bottom water fishing. We like to rig them using a Circle hook with a small ball or egg sinker on top. The circle hooks will cause the Flounder to bump the bottom and a make a small cloud of mud rise which catches the attention of fish. They also help send the bait to the strike zone faster and the circle hooks tend not to injure any larger fish as they most often catch in the corner of the mouth. We also recommend using a worm hook or with a normal jig head. This works like a charm when targeting Snapper or gurnard in harbours and over sandy bottoms into deeper bodies of water during a falling tide.
