This is an ancient device that was used before bows were invented and is said to have been the inspiration to invent the first bow and arrow. It basically uses your arm and a lever to lob an oversized arrow at tremendous speeds at a target, the megalithic stone age people use them to kill wooly mammoth and buffalo and today you can see Australian aboriginals use them to hunt kangaroo.
