We have researched other suppliers and traps and found through experience and our customer feed back from commercial trappers and hobby trappers that this trap is the best. They consist of stronger metal and construction, stronger springs/hold with bigger rivets and a good secure chain, lock nuts on the tongue so they don't fall off and zinc coated. They have longer bars so the bars don't fall out as found in other traps. They have a D on the end of the chain that spins freely and also where it joins the trap it spins freely, so the possum can't twist & tie the chain up and pull out.

Through testing other traps we have found some brands can be set with your hand's as the springs are not strong enough, however this is not the case with these traps.
